Virtual campus tours are a great way to get a better sense of what a certain school offers and what the vibe is like. However, it's not a perfect replacement for an in-person visit where you can see the buildings for yourself, walk around campus, see students going to and from classes, etc.

Nine years later, 77% of applicants were accepted for the 2019-20 school year. Walsh attributes the acceptance rate increase to the university's rapid growth since the 1980s and the increased competition to recruit students within Virginia who may attend out-of-state universities.

To determine the party school rankings, College Prowler gave each school a score out of 10 points. The students at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, ranked as the commonwealth's top partiers. It scored 9.3 on College Prowler's list, earning it the No. 13 spot.
